“I’ve Been Smoking Wee For 27years Now; Smoking Gives Me Ideas” King Ayisoba

After “wanting to see his father”, King Ayisoba’s name has joined the list of extra ordinary talents Ghana boasts of across the globe. His string instrument which has become part of his body parts gives him a different brand from the others.

King Ayisoba, in a video interview has declared that, he is a smoker. On which type of herb his body absorbs, he mentioned that, he smokes ‘taba’ which is Marijuana (wee). According to King Ayisoba, smoking is a medicine to guard people. He smokes to gain ideas which help him through his music. He further pressed that, most of the world’s legends are smokers. In what is seen as surprising, King Ayisoba mentioned some names of the world’s legends who smokes.

“See Bob Marley, he is a legend and he is a smoker, see Culture, he is a legend and a smoker” King Ayisoba snitched. Most of the Reggae Artists have been tagged with smoking so it was no surprise. One name which he mentioned to the dismay of many was the former President of Ghana, J.J. Rawlings.

In King Ayisoba’s words, he started his career at a tender age and smoking has guarded him till today. He sees most exceptional ideas as being a smoke producing ones of which he is an epitome. “Some smoke to sleep or fight but we smoke to create and get ideas to do something better. Smoke is medicine for us and it is not buzz. It is medicine for me” he added.
