Obrafour, Lord Kenya and I couldn’t work on a joint album because of arrogance – Reggie Rockstone

The originator of the Hiplife genre Reggie Rockstone has disclosed that in the year 1996 himself, Obrafour and Lord Kenya planned to have a joint album but that couldn’t be possible due to arrogance.

According to Reggie Rockstone who is nicknamed ‘grandpapa’ by Hiplife lovers, the joint album did not see the light of day due to the arrogant nature of Lord Kenya.

Ardent followers of Hiplife would recall that there was a serious beef between Lord Kenya and Obrafour which Reggie Rockstone attributes the root cause of the beef to the inability of the three to have this joint album.

“Obrafour was angry why Lord Kenya delayed anytime they called for meetings to plan the album” Reggie Rockstone told listeners of OC Showbiz Review (a weekly entertainment centred award winning radio programme) with Nana Kwame on Skyy Power FM in Takoradi.
