“I Didn’t Use Juju On Muntari” Menaye Donkor, Muntari’s Wife Debunks

Muntari and wife, Menaye

Brands Ambassador of Printex and 2004 Miss Ghana Menaye Muntari has come out to debunk the notion that she used black magic otherwise known as ‘juju’ on her husband Sulley Muntari who plies his trade at Italian outfit, AC Milan.

The beautiful Menaye took her time and recounted how she met her husband and how the Milan midfielder had to ‘fight’ to win her love.

It will be recalled that during a recent call-in to a particular entertainment programme (name withheld) many callers were of the opinion that many of the ladies who are either dating Ghanaian footballers or married to them used magic charm to win their (footballers) hearts.

But in a sharp rebuttal on ETV, the former Miss Malaika sought to put to rest all those rumours about how she met Sulley.

Sulley didn’t get me on the cheap as he persisted till I gave in to date him. Because he was a footballer, I was quite worried about what my parents will say.

But when I got closer to him, I realized that he was very respectful. He also loved kids and when he found out that I was doing a charity involving kids, he was impressed as he also loved kids.

On how she juggles her role as a wife, a model and a business person, Menaye added: “Not only am I a model, I run my own business and charity.

And I’m still looking to take my career to the next level with the numerous acting classes I have been through around the world. My life might seem quite glamorous looking in from the outside but it really isn’t.”
