NDC Constituency Executives arrested over acid plot

4976ndc youth angrySome 3 National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executives in the Evalue Gwira in the Jomoro constituency have been arrested over plot to pour acid on the Chairman of the party in the constituency, Charles Kwaw Agyei and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), James Kakra Baidoo.

The executives are accusing the Chairman and MCE of incompetence and corruption. The irate members have threatened to kill the Chairman after they removed all the 4 tyres of his Chairman’s pick-up.

The Constituency Organizer, Joseph Kwesi Kyei, together with Samuel Ackah and Kwesi Nzema, all constituency executive members were arrested by the Police over the issue. www.233times.net is informed that, those who were arrested have been granted bail and have denied threatening to pour acid on the Chairman and MCE.

Chairman Charles Kwaw Agyei confirmed the incident and plot to Omanbapa Kofi Amoah and Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson on the Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) this morning and declined to give further comment saying it is purely party matter.
