As the general elections of Ghana is some few weeks away, it has become the concern of most Ghanaians to ensure that there is peace before, during and after the elections. One of those who is concerned about a peaceful state is rapper cum song writer Sayvee, real name Saviour Kweku Adzika.
In his usual stylish way to preach the message of peace to fans and non-fans alike, on 28th October, 2016 Sayvee hosted an event at the plush Paragon grill and bar in Sekondi-Takoradi. The event which was mainly to educate attendees about peace witnessed the attendance of high-profile personalities in the Metropolis to send their messages of peace.
In attendance were the incumbent member of parliament for Takoradi constituency, Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko, the divisional chief of Apremdo Nana Egya Kwamina XI, Air Commodore Felix Asante, Takoradi Airforce Base Commander, Nana Ewusie-Prah, Tullow Oil’s logistics and Materials base manager, Najeeb Adam, Tullow Oil facilities and administration manager and Peter Adansi Andoh, Marine Superintendent. Also present were staff from Tullow Oil, Takoradi branch, representatives from CAL Bank, Unibank, Zenith Bank, Vodafone Ghana and the Assembly member for Effiakuma, Seidu Adam.
After the messages of peace from the respected personalities at the ‘Corporate for peace’ event, live performances from Comedian Foster Romanus, Sayvee himself and his colleague Artistes Quata and Nhyiraba Kojo.
The much-anticipated video of Sayvee ‘Yaayi’ and website of Sayvee, www.corpsayvee.com were also premiered on the day. |
