Online news portal www.233times.net in collaboration with Corpnation, a Showbiz Organisation in Sekondi-Takoradi is embarking on a pep-talk with Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
The project which is to have an hour pep-talk to try as much as possible to take out the external exams fright that BECE comes with will visit schools like Young Christian Junior High School (JHS), Bethel Methodist JHS, Naval Base JHS, Korsah JHS, Mosignor Ansah JHS, Woode Methodist JHS, Rev. Cobbah Yalley and Nana Brempong Yaw JHS all in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
Speaking to CEO of www.233times.net Nana Kwesi Coomson, he mentioned that “As the first external exams, BECE comes with some level of fright. Candidates wonder how examiners who have never taught them will mark their papers and if the answers they will provide will be what examiners want. These wondering come with fright and I was a victim of this so using our own experiences, we want to admonish the candidates and try as much as we could to take away this fright from them.”
Sayvee, leader of Corpnation also added that “Since BECE is the foundation of a student, it is most important that we pep these candidates up to take away any fright from them in order to have a clear mind to write the exams well to make the region proud.”
