Biological children and entire family desert woman because she lives and take care of mentally challenged people in Sekondi-Takoradi

Madam Habiba Fuseini, Caretaker of Kith Mental Home located in Takoradi has been deserted by her biological children and entire family because she’s taken it upon herself to care for and live with mentally challenged people in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

Speaking to Nana Kwesi Coomson on ‘Extensive Chat with NKC,’ Madam Habiba Fuseini said “my three children and my family don’t even want me close to them because of what I’m doing. I am not bothered because it is not my children and family who will take me to heaven, it is my deeds which will.”

According to Madam Habiba Fuseini, taking care of the mentally challenged people whom she even eat from the same bowl with and sleep in same building with is her calling. “When I was growing up, I had this in me, I wanted to do this but I didn’t know how but thank God I grew up to do it” she told Nana Kwesi Coomson on Extensive Chat.
