Sekondi-Takoradi: Newly born baby girl abandoned at a piggery rescued (PHOTO)

A newly born baby girl who was abandoned very close to a piggery at Essikado Ahenkro has been rescued.

A good Samaritan, Papa Nketsia who bumped into the miraculous baby whilst attending to a nature’s call tells Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson he heard the cry of the baby around 4:30am on Sunday, December 17.

He became terrified and called a neighbour, one Anita and two other men who accompanied him to the scene. The baby was naked with the umbilical cord still attached and lying in a pool of blood

He believes the baby might have been lying there whilst it was raining throughout the night. She could have been eaten up by the Pigs if they had been let out.

With the assistance of Anita, the baby was rushed to the Essikado Hospital where she has been stabilized after being put on Oxygen.
