Sekondi-Takoradi: 3 Teenagers arrested for looting house on new year’s eve

Three juveniles are in the grips of the Sekondi Police for raiding the House of a couple on the eve of New year on Sunday at Adiembra, a suburb of Sekondi.

The three, Maxwell Anthony, 17, Abraham Amey, 16 and Buba Ahmed, 16 were said to have broken into the house of the couple whilst they were at watch night service.

The Western Regional Police Public relations officer ASP Olivia Ewurabena Adiku who confirms the story to Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson says the suspects made away with 8,920 cedis, 3 mobile phones, 7 African mackerel, Pure canola oil, a Pen drive, head set and many items all valued at 1,500 Ghana cedis.

They reportedly went on a spending and boozing spree at Sekondi until they were arrest the next day.

Cash amount of 6,720 Ghana cedis and the items have since been retrieved from them except two of the mobile phones.

They are in currently in police custody assisting investigations.
