Ebony and I were planning a beef to get Ghanaians talking – Mzbel

Real name Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, Mzbel has revealed that she planned a beef with late Ebony to get Ghanaians talking.

According to Mzbel, a guest on Extensive Chat with NKC, she said people started spreading that she is jealous of Ebony and started all sort of false allegations so herself and Ebony decided to fuel the purported beef.

“So we planned that I will do a diss song and she (Ebony) replies and we get it going. People said we are beefing so we had to get them talking” Mzbel revealed.

According to Mzbel, Ebony was said by many as her contemporary so they had crazy plans to blow the minds of Ghanaians. “We had plans to perform together on stage, a mind-blowing performance but it’s sad it couldn’t come on” Mzbel added.

Asking her where she heard the news of Ebony’s death, Mzbel said she woke up and one of her team members told her about the demise of Ebony.  According to Mzbel, “I insulted him that you are close to me and you know how the media operates, why would you say such a thing. I went on Facebook and I saw RIP Ebony. I switched on the TV and saw breaking news and I started screaming. I screamed so much that people thought there was something wrong”
