A young man who is believed to be in his teens was found dead at Monkey Hill in Takoradi this morning, 25th January, 2019.

According to sources close to www.233times.net, the body of the boy was found this morning at the Monkey Hill but what killed him is not readily known.

“The body looks like someone who has been beaten. Some parts of his body appeared broken and beaten” a passerby told www.233times.net.

His name is given as Eugene Kweku Gyamerah, 17 and a Pupil of Bishop Assuah Memorial JHS in Takoradi.

Report was made by the family to the police on Wednesday only for his lifeless body to be found lying at Monkey Hill, a popular reserved forest in Takoradi in the early hours of Friday, January 25, 2019.

Eugene who has been described by relatives and neighbours as very calm and respectful is a grandson of Mr Gyamerah, a popular contractor in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis who was also killed under mysterious circumstances about twenty years ago at Effiakuma New Site.

The body has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
