Takoradi: GN Bank Customer vows to sleep at bank premises till his money is paid

A 39 year old customer of the GN Bank on Tuesday 5th February, 2019 stormed the bank’s branch at Axim Road, Takoradi threatening to sleep there till his money was paid him.

The disgruntled customer, Francis Kwegyah, a dockworker tells CONNECT FM’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson he had been visiting the bank to demand his deposit of 4000 Ghana cedis since September 2018 but anytime he went, they would tell him there was no money.

Mr Kwegyah who is the breadwinner of his family laments times have become very hard for him, his wife and children who all depend on him adding he didn’t have even transport fare to take him back home at Kojokrom.

It took the intervention of one of the staff members of the bank to calm him before he left the Bank’s premises after spending about 8 hours there.

He vows to Storm the place on Wednesday, February, 6 for further action.
