Cemetery, houses cleared in Domeabra as demolition exercise continues

A demolition exercise in Domeabra in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region has drawn concern from residents, as it affects a cemetery and several homes.
According to residents, the operation is being carried out by a private individual, identified as Mr Asare, following a court ruling.
Witnesses say sections of a local cemetery have already been cleared, along with some structures believed to be occupied houses.
The development has prompted questions from residents about the impact on families and the extent of the exercise.
Some community members say the situation has created uncertainty, with concerns about how the demolition is being handled and the processes behind it.
