Television Presenter Stacy Amoateng has decided not to comment on some allegations leveled against her and her husband Okyeame Quophi by female Hiplife artiste Nana Akua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel.
In an exclusive interview with Stacy, she said that she doesn’t want to give any credence or attention to whatever allegations Mzbel had made against her and her husband.
“I refuse to comment on anything Mzbel has said. It’s been over a week since she made those allegations and I have not spoken about it anywhere. Silence is golden and it can never be misquoted”, Stacy said.
Stacy added that if you are bathing and someone comes for your clothes and runs away with it, you shouldn’t chase that person with your nakedness.
“I refuse to get to her level I will not do that because I am too matured for that”.
About Mzbel’s allegation that her manager asked them to edit some part of her interview, Stacy said “it’s all never true” adding that her husband has already granted several interviews to clarify that.
“So she should go on saying whatever she wants to say. It’s been about 6 weeks since Mzbel’s interview was aired. We have moved on and I am not commenting on it – Ghanaians should be the judge”.
The “Restoration” hostess said Mzbel did the said interview willingly and nobody forced her to say the things she said, so she should take responsibility for her comments and stop blaming other people for her own comments.
“When she was doing the interview, there was no gun to her head. She said a lot of things we laughed about it and nobody accused her of anything”.
Asked about Mzbel’s allegation that Stacy knew her stands on Jesus before the interview, Stacy pleaded that people show go on YouTube and watch the full interview with Mzbel on Restoration and draw their own conclusion.
